Content - Got to Have It!!

Every website even if it's a blog site needs to have Content. Not just gibberish content either, I'm talking real relevant content to your site. You want people to go "OMG that is exactly what I wanted to know", not only will this bring a person back but they will tell others and those people will come to your site.
So what is content exactly? Content is everything you put on your page, this includes:
  • The articles, and stories you put on your site.
  • Pictures and videos
  • Audio, music
  • The advertisments
  • Basically anything that pops up on the screen
So deciding what content is relevant and whats not will be very important, not only that but you want to strive to give more information than what a person was looking for.

Example of this could be someone looking for how to make a apple pie, and they come to a site that shows how to make 6 diffrent ones including 2 that are sugar free.

Where does one find content for there sites?

There are several ways the number one way is it comes from you and your knowledge. Say you know about room decorating, well you could talk about how to do that.

You may be thinking well there not that much I can talk about on that but if you think about it  there is lots. Lets go back to Room Decorating for a sec, I will list a few things for this one alone that a person with this knowledge could talk about.
  1. Paint on the walls - the color schemes and why they work,  why certian colors are better for certian types of homes, paints that work best in kids rooms.
  2. Rooms - the bedroom: how to make it a romantic getaway, how to make it a room you never want to leave, Kids bedrooms  how to make it there dream room.
  3. Decorating on a budget- how to use things you already have around the house to make a better room, Decorating a room for under $100, 
  4. Furniture - the basics to furniture, the furniture you need to have, furniture that can stand up to any kid.
I'm not a decorator in any way shape or form and if  I can come up with that many ideas how much more could someone who knows about it come up with.

You could also use PLR's (private label rights) what these are are content that been written that you have been given the right to use. (More on this at a later time)

Then there is the research way this is where you look up the stuff in books, on the net, talking to people and any other way to get as much information about a subject and then write about what you have learned. If you do this be sure its something you want to learn about as well if its not people who go to your site will be able to tell.

You may be thinking right now I could just go copy paste content from someone else, you could but then if you got caught you be in big time trouble.  Besides that there is one really good reason not too. If you copy paste content  you are  not going to get as much traffic  as you could becuase that person was the original they been there longer, so they established that page. Besides people want new fresh content.
